Koggala Beach Hotel

I was genuinely disappointed by the outdated washrooms. It was unacceptable that the entrance was so hard to find. The noisy late-night activities by the pool made it impossible to sleep, leaving me frustrated.

Pepper was set 5 minutes walk away. Our room had a nice balcony. The view from the window was great. We appreciated the facilities and staff and okay prices.

Massive hotel (3 connected together with 300+ rooms) so there were plenty of resources, swimming pools, bar, tennis courts, table tennis etc... Nice and clean too. Close to the men who fish from the stilts.

Fairly commercial place to stay, not much character and the beach was fairly unswimmable. Not many alternative eating places around the hotel.

ideal base for exploring parks and local landmarks

the nearby stilt fisherman gave me an very nice view of the local culture and the walk to Madol Duwa was a refreshing escape into nature, really enhancing my weekend adventure.

the bathroom could really use some updates (not impressed). the beach was very clean which made for a pleasant time. staff were friendly and helped with everything we needed. the food was delicious with plenty of variety.

The beachfront atmosphere and vibrant garden, providing easy access to the pool and dining areas, perfect for seniors to navigate without difficulty. The serene surroundings amplified relaxation throughout my stay.

Had a blast with friends! We enjoyed the beach volleyball and indulged in great food. The team at the hotel was super helpful, and we made use of the gym and yoga classes to keep active. Check out Midigama Left Surf Break for some fantastic surfing!

Relaxing atmosphere, fine beach view. The outdoor swimming pool offered a refreshing escape amidst the super quiet place and the friendly staff ensured excellent service throughout my stay.

A night spent in a Beautiful Double or Twin Room provided a peaceful retreat with beautiful beach views and a calming atmosphere. The food, particularly the hot dishes, was enjoyable, and the friendly staff offered attentive service. The washroom could benefit from modern updates and the entrance signage needs improvement for better visibility.

The hotel is great value for money, with friendly and helpful staff. The manager, Mr Kushal, ensured a pleasant stay. The breakfast was awesome, and our room had a great view of the ocean. The hotel's proximity to the beach is excellent.
